Dinner Description
We return for our third dinner in the Hamptons. Last year was exciting when during event preparations tropical storm Hanna made a bee line for Long Island and crashed ashore. Fortunately, the storms arrival took place the day before our event. Calm winds and sunny skies graced our day. Chef Jason Weiner of Almond Restaurant in East Hampton prepared a wonderful feast. The event was a bit unusual in that two photographers from separate publications almost came to blows competing to get the best shot from the one available ladder. Hopefully if there is any press they will be less aggressive this time. Guest chef Gerry Hayden of the venerable North Fork Table and Inn will head over to East Hampton and EECO Farm.

Outstanding in the Field events feature a leisurely tour of the hosting farm followed by a five course, farm-style dinner at our long table set in a scenic spot. Dinner is accompanied by a wine paired with each course. Diners are joined at the table by the farmer, food producers, a winemaker and other local artisans associated with the meal.

Due to the nature of our events no refunds will be given for cancellations. If you cannot attend the dinner you may sell or give your ticket to another person for the same event. If you transfer your ticket to another person, please contact us with new guest information prior to the event.
